The name "Sweetheart Gallery" was born of a romantic notion. In 1973, Lila and Norman Bacon met in Woodstock, NY. It wasn't long before Lila brought her painting talent to bear in collaboration with Norman's art pottery production that "Sweetheart Pottery" became their official business name.
