Rosen Group announces move of 2011 Summer BMAC show to Baltimore
During the annual meeting at the recent winter show, The Rosen Group announced that, beginning with the August 2011 show, the Summer Buyers Market of American Craft will take place at the Baltimore Convention Center.
The Pennsylvania Convention Center has recently been undergoing a large expansion, and the Rosen Group has “been notified that when the expansion is complete, the Convention Center will consider itself to be a venue for very large national conferences and conventions,” according to the announcement. “They let us know that they consider our summer show to be “too small” under the future sales targets they have set."
The larger winter BMAC show – which takes place in February – will not be affected by the expansion.“At this time there are no plans to move the Winter-February show,” according to the Rosen Group.
