| After a summer of lumbering in the heat at various street festivals, it was a welcomed relief to enjoy the cool air of the Chase Center at the Wilmington Riverfront. A nice change as well was the difference in the work on display at this show compared to many of the festivals I visited the past three months.
Instead of tee-shirts and a light dose of buy/sell, there was quality craftsmanship created by accomplished artists. Not that there aren’t some very good artists at most street festivals; it’s just that they don’t seem to have the consistent quality of work that you can find at a show . . . |
